Our Pediatrician
Dr. Nneka Unachuwku, M.D, F.A.A.P
Dr. "Una" as she is fondly called by her patients and colleagues is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
A Californian native, she received her medical training at the prestigious University of Nigeria. She completed her pediatric training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, NJ. Upon completion of her residency she relocated to Georgia, worked in private practice and then went on to become the founder and medical director of Ivy League Pediatrics.
She brings to this practice a wealth of knowledge, passion for quality child care and providing an exceptional experience for the child and parents. An avid learner, she attends multiple conferences throughout the year to stay abreast of new trends and practices in pediatrics. She is on staff at Gwinnett Medical Center and also at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Egleston campus, where she frequently works as an urgent care physician. She has strong interests in the areas of newborn care, asthma and obesity.
She lives in Duluth with her husband and two young children. She is an active member in her church where she serves as an administrator.
